Inspired by living in the most ancient part of Glasgow. This piece is named after its Gaelic name “Glaschu” meaning land of the grey rock. This refers to the volcanic plug now known today as Glasgow Necropolis. This rock face in the mage is at the very core of what Glasgow is today, although many people who live here and visit the city may not know. It is on my doorstep and I appreciate its history very much. _ _ _ Claire Farrell, Glasgow, Scotland
